InputBoxLibrary.Common

The shared, toolkit-neutral model layer of the InputBoxLibrary suite. It defines what an input dialog asks — the question model — independently of how it is rendered, so the WinForms and WPF implementations can present the exact same set of questions.

What's inside

  • Question model: Question, PromptQuestionEntry, and the QuestionEntry hierarchy (QuestionEntry, BooleanQuestionEntry, EnumQuestionEntry) describing a prompt, its default value, and its input type.
  • Enums & metadata: QuestionType, Orientation, QuestionTypeToQuestion, QuestionExtender.
  • Public contract: IInputBoxUtility, the interface both the WinForms and WPF InputBoxUtility implementations honor (InputBox, IntegerInputBox, FileInputBox, EnumInputBox, QuestionsInputBox).
  • Extenders / helpers such as NumberFinderExtender and the IInputBoxUtility / ITextBox interfaces.

This package has no WinForms/WPF dependency; pair it with Net4x.InputBoxLibrary.WinForms or Net4x.InputBoxLibrary.Wpf to actually show dialogs.
