If IntelliSense for XAML-files does not work
Ensure the XAML designer is disabled. (Tools | Options | XAML Designer)
For any XAML file run the "Open With" context command. Select "Source Code (Text) Editor". Click the "Set as Default" button.
Restart Visual Studio.
