Frontmatec.UpdateManagement.Windows

The update check, question and progress of a WPF app built on Frontmatec.Windows, in English and Danish: once at start, quietly, and from a menu item. The check and the download run off the window's thread, and a check that takes more than 20 seconds is given up.

Use

Register the texts with the update manager:

services.AddUpdateManagement(updates => updates.UseVelopack().AddWindows());

The main window's view model implements IUpdateHost and makes the UpdateViewModel:

Updates = componentFactory.CreateInstance<UpdateViewModel>(this);

and checks once its window shows:

mainWindow.Updates.CheckAtStart();

In the window, the menu item and the status:
