MetaDataAdder

Adds runtime metadata from Crosser environment variables to a configurable target path.

What it does

  • Reads the source payload from Source Property Path (default: data).
  • Normalizes source payloads that contain OPC UA namespace wrapper keys such as ns=5;s=SomeNode.
  • Writes resolved metadata to Target Property Path (default: metadata).
  • Optionally writes a full environment snapshot for discovery.

Metadata fields

The module writes non-empty fields only. Primary fields include:

  • nodeName, nodeId, nodeVersion, nodePlatform
  • flowName, flowVersion, flowId, flowVersionDescription
  • flowDefinitionId, flowDeploymentId
  • moduleId, moduleName, moduleType

It also includes optional environment fields when present:

  • edgeNodeId, edgeNodeName
  • flowInstanceId, flowRunId
  • hostname, tz
