DatePicker

The UWP DatePicker control provides an intuitive touch interface to quickly select a date. It allows users to choose different date formats and specify minimum and maximum dates to restrict date selection. The time selector appearance can also be completely customized.

Masked TextBox

The UWP Masked TextBox (masked input) control is an enhanced version of a text box that additionally restricts input to conform to a specific structure or mask.

  • Custom prompt characters can be set.
  • Input validation can be done either during each key press or when the control loses its focus.

Numeric TextBox

The UWP numeric textbox control restricts the input to allow only numbers to be entered. It supports culture based formatting and other features.

  • Null Value – The control will allow the user to set null value.
  • Parsing Mode – Value gets parsed based on this property.

Numeric UpDown

The NumericUpDown control for UWP allows users to increase or decrease a numeric value using the increment and decrement buttons.

  • Number Formatting – Number can be formatted by setting the Format String for the control.
  • Culture – Number can be localized by setting Culture property of the control.
  • Null Value – The control will allow the user to set Null Value for the control.
  • Range – User can restrict the Values between a specific range by setting Maximum and Minimum value.
  • Auto Reverse – When the Value reaches either Maximum or Minimum value, it automatically reverses the value from the Maximum or Minimum value.
  • Parsing Mode – Value gets parsed based on this property.

Picker

The Picker control allows users to pick an item among a list of items that can be customized with custom view. This control can be opened as a dialog. Its rich feature set includes functionalities like data binding, multicolumn, header/footer, custom view on header/footer, and default validation buttons.

Range Slider

The Range Slider control allows the user to select the range of values within the specified minimum and maximum limits. The range can be selected by moving the thumb control along a track.

  • Restricts values to choose within a minimum and maximum constraints.
  • Supports to change the tick intervals in uniform pattern.
  • Provides user-friendly customization support to customize ticks and labels.

Radial Slider

The UWP Radial or Circular Slider control provides an intuitive touch interface for selecting a numeric value on a circular display. Supports specifying the display range and changing the number of intermediate ticks on the slider that shows values.

  • Customization – Can customize outer rim, inner rim, labels, ticks, pointer.
  • Content – Can place content inside the inner rim.

Rating

The Rating control allows users to select a value from a group of symbols. This provides an intuitive rating experience that allows users to select the number of stars that represent their rating. The appearance and selection behavior of the control are highly customizable.
