To get started, from your main activity OnCreated():

  var ble = BluetoothLowEnergyAdapter.ObtainDefaultAdapter( this );

Be sure to add these normal permissions to your app:

[assembly: UsesPermission( Manifest.Permission.BluetoothAdmin )]
